We have received notification that due to COVID-19, there are multiple courts closing throughout the U.S. We do expect the court closure situation to evolve RAPIDLY and we will continue to monitor the situation and update this list as we receive information.

CALIFORNIA 

  • Contra Costa County partially reopened, please expect delays 

  • Glenn County partially reopened, please expect delays 

  • Humboldt County partially reopened, please expect delays 

  • Marin County partially reopened, please expect delays

  • San Diego County partially reopened, please expect delays 

  • San Joaquin County closed indefinitely - “clear” searches will still be available but any search where possible records are found will be unavailable until the court reopens

  • Sierra County closed indefinitely but researchers are able to request searches.  Please expect lengthy delays.

GEORGIA 

  • All counties not listed below have reopened but with limited services, please expect delays

  • The court system has provided an alternate case access method for researchers which is accessible for a fee.  Effective immediately NJ orders can be completed but will carry a $5 court fee.  Please expect delays as researchers work through the backlog. 

NEW YORK 

  • Statewide OCA staff are being reduced so results will be delayed  

TENNESSEE
